the busiest travel weekend of the year

I came this close to driving to Connecticut for Thanksgiving. But the backup at the Delaware Memorial Bridge proved too challenging, alternate routes notwithstanding. We are definitely getting up there for Christmas, departing Thursday or Friday. Oh, the merriest time of the year!
