tuscany: fachiamo la bella figure

My sweepslust is at full throttle today. The cool weather leaves me hankering for earthy, homecooked food. So, this sweeps seems especially appropriate: Seven days of cucina Italiana instruction at the Toscana Saporita Cooking School in Tuscany. To enter the sweeps, click HERE.

The prize, for two with airfare, includes cooking lessons, guided tours and wine tastings. The setting, a half hour from Pisa, an hour from Florence, sounds stupendous: a striped (yes, striped!) 15th-century villa sitting amidst 10,000 olive trees on 70 acres. Excursions may include Florence, Pisa, Lerici, Lucca and Pietra Santa. The sponsor is DeLonghi, the appliance maker.
