want some seafood, mama!

SWEEPS | Hard to believe, but once upon a time I did not love seafood. Fish on Fridays was the bane of my Catholic childhood. Then, at some point, I fell for seafood. Hard. We'd catch blue fish in Long Island Sound, broil it for dinner that same day. Eat fresh clams, gathered at low tide. Feast on lobster dredged in drawn butter, lobster from up the coast, usually Maine.

Here are two sweeps, and a song, that celebrate seafood.

Four nights in San Francisco, sponsored by the Mussel Industry Council of North America. One-time entry through March 31. To enter, click HERE.

This sweeps, from Gorton's Seafood, hinges on which destination gets the most votes. Oddly, one of the choices is Las Vegas. The others are the Greek Isles, Caribbean, Key West, Italy and Gloucester, Mass. (I've been to all save Las Vegas!) This is a daily entry through April 1. To enter, click HERE.
