I have not jumped ship. I got waylaid by taxes and car matters. The taxes, across the street at H&R Block, went well. No surprises this year. Car inspection was more complicated. My car failed for a second time. Then, the next day, a visit to the D.C. Department of Motor Vehicles took THREE HOURS instead of the estimated one. I promised Isaac I would try my best to keep him out of DMV until he was getting his driver's permit. It's long been one of my versions of hell: Waking up each morning and having to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles, any Department of Motor Vehicles. AH!
I hope to resume posting either this evening or Tuesday. I doubt I will post tomorrow as I am going to Colonial Williamsburg with Isaac's Fifth Grade.
